Allow me to introduce myself. I grew up the oldest of four boys in Grapevine, Texas, a suburb of Dallas/Fort Worth. After earning an undergraduate degree I worked in mortgage banking at a company in Dallas for 8 years. During that time I became involved in a local parish and had a transformative experience while going through the Christ Renews His Parish retreat and formation process. Shortly after that I began discerning religious life. I was contacted by the Capuchins and after visiting the St. Augustine Province in 2006 I decided to trust the Lord and give it a shot.
Since I entering postulancy in Philadelphia, I’ve lived in almost every friary in the Province. I took solemn vows in 2013. From 2015 to 2017 I lived and worked in Pittsburgh, including doing my Diaconate at Our Lady of Angels. It was a great year, full of great people, and a lot of fun.
I was ordained to the priesthood on June 2017 and was named Parochial Vicar of St. Joseph in York Pennsylvania. Becoming a Capuchin has been the best decision I have ever made. I thank God for all the blessings I’ve received throughout my life. I’m excited to be back in Lawrenceville to help Br. John and Fr. Dam in our grouping that also includes Bloomfield and Garfield. I look forward to serving our new and growing community and to serving God in whatever capacity He leads me.
